Product of the Product

Kim’s Compass Method is the heart of how she coaches and lives. It’s built on the idea that true wellness comes from balance and direction in every area of life — north for mindset, south for movement, east for nutrition, and west for recovery. When these elements align, her clients don’t just move better, they live better — strong, grounded, and whole.

Read Kim's Story

Kim is a fitness professional, holistic wellness consultant, and integrative nutritional health coach. Her path was shaped by personal health struggles and the legacy of her father, who inspired her to live fully and serve others through wellness. She began with a B.S. in Exercise Science (University of Mississippi), trained clients for years, and later worked in surgical and pharmaceutical sales—still coaching in waiting rooms.

After battling endometriosis and navigating conflicting medical advice, a providential encounter with a naturopathic physician led Kim to functional medicine—addressing root causes and transforming her health. The defining moment came when her father, Tommy Monsour, passed away at 67. A former Ole Miss lineman and her greatest coach, his life and loss clarified Kim’s calling: return to fitness with a holistic, preventative approach that honors science and lived experience.

Today, Kim combines education, experience, and empathy. Clients say she’s not just a trainer, but a partner- someone who motivates, educates, and walks beside them. Her father’s words guide her work:  “Do something you’re great at, be a blessing to others, and thrive.” That is the compass she lives by every day.

Run for Hope — The Course with a Cause

Run for Hope was founded twenty-five years ago as a community race with heart — created to bring people together in faith, love, and purpose. For two decades, Kim led the event as founder and race director, building not only a run but a movement that supported the children of Hope Village and inspired countless acts of kindness.

Every great journey starts with purpose.

Run for Hope began with a simple mission — to unite people around something that truly mattered. Kim envisioned more than a race; she saw a way to strengthen her community while giving back to children in need. Each mile represented hope, and every participant became part of something much larger than themselves.

The heart of Run for Hope has always been the people.

Families, friends, local businesses, and volunteers all came together — year after year — to make the event possible. From handing out water cups to cheering on runners, the community became the lifeblood of the race. Kim often says, “I may have founded it, but it’s everyone’s race.”

Faith guided every step of the journey.

Kim believes Run for Hope was never just her doing — it was God’s hand leading the way. Through challenges, weather, and the countless details of organizing a major event, faith kept her grounded and grateful. That same faith built a spirit of giving that continues to inspire others long after the finish line.

Two decades later, the finish line became a new beginning.

Though Kim has passed the torch, the mission lives on — a lasting legacy of compassion and community. Run for Hope continues to remind us that when we move together, we move lives forward. Kim’s journey as founder and race director will forever stand as a testament to what’s possible when one person follows their calling and brings others along for the run.
